Tubing!

February has come and gone and I haven't blogged a thing. Time seems to be slipping away fast and before I know it a month has gone by. Anyways we had a good time tubing with the Clarks. Ci loved to have everyone go down the big hill together holding onto each other's tubes. I would have to agree with her. Being able to watch everyone's faces was quite enjoyable.

Snowman Family!

Ci was so happy it snowed a lot more this last week. She has been wanting to make a snowman since the last really good snow storm. So her and Matt ventured out and made not just one but a snowman family, and Ci insisted on adding a fourth for her baby brother or sister she prays for daily.

7 Years

It is hard to believe that another year of marriage has flown by! We celebrated our 7th Anniversary this last week by going to I-fly and Tucanos. I-fly was a lot more difficult then I had thought, but we sure had a great time...smiling with slobber all over our face as we tried to breathe while flying:) Kinda makes us want to try real sky diving...maybe one day! Don't mind my messy hair the picture was taken after we had done it:)

Sledding

Cierra is one dare-devil...especially when you get her with her cousin Bai! They are nuts! We would hold our breath as they would fly down the hill giggling and pray they would make it to the bottom safely. I was so worried watching them that I forgot to get a picture of the crazies! We sure were grateful we had a white Christmas and were able to enjoy the snow after.

Christmas!

We love this time of year! The traditions, family parties, decorations, lights, smells, food, buying and receiving presents, movies, plays, carriage rides, music and the meaning for the season - Our Savior. We had a busy (but oh so worth with it) and fabulous month and Christmas! We hope you had a memorable Christmas, as well!

Santa played a joke on Ci and hid her karoke machine. She was certain Santa forgot, but we got the surprise face when she found it on camera. As you can tell by the pictures Ci has a crush on The Hulk and Justin Bieber. I think we are in trouble...she is only 4! Oh and yes I love me some Diet Coke!

 

 

 

MJ Getaway!

Matt and I were able to go on a little getaway . . . just the 2 of us!  It was so nice to be together and just enjoying being US for a few days. We had a blast going to the temple, beach, Old Town, Anthony's amazing lobster, Phil's BBQ, movies, Chargers game, and walks.

Thanksgiving

What a wonderful holiday . . . A day to reflect on all of our blessings! We truly are so blessed. We had a fun day seeing our families! I forgot to get a picture of us together:(

Mini Minerettes

We saw a glimpse of our future this week when Ci performed as a mini-minerette! She loves to dance! It is fun to have a dancer in our family. I really enjoy watching dance but have never been much of one myself, so it has been fun to have a daughter who does.

Halloween Festivities!

We had a "boo"tiful halloween...haha! We filled our days full of halloween fun - corn maze, pumpkin patch, painted pumpkins, graham cracker haunted houses, witches night out, carved pumpkins, pumpkin pizza, and our annual adult only date to Frightmares.Happy Halloween!

Flower Girl!

Ci was asked to be the flower girl at our friend's wedding. She was ecstatic about being able to get dressed up and be apart of the wedding! Her and the ring boys were so cute together.

Fall!

I love this time of year. The beautiful colors of leaves, cool weather, and college football. This last week we enjoyed a hike and picnic in the mountains.
Funny story: Ci was nervous to go on a hike because the week before her uncle saw a bear while scouting, and she did not want to have a run in with a bear. We told her that the chances of us seeing a bear our slim, and we will be ok. She then says she doesn't want to hike because she hates snakes and is afraid of them. We again told her that the chances of us running into a snake are slim, and we will be okay. Low and behold we ran into 2 snakes on our 1.5 mile hike haha! Ci was not to happy at first, but laughed soon after about it and was so excited to tell her 7 year old cousin who loves snakes about our adventure!

Pre-School

Ci started pre-school the beginning of this month. She absolutely loves it! When dropping her off on her first day, she got out of the car gave me a kiss and said,"bye mom, love you"! That sure made it easier for me-that she was excited and not scared.

LuLu is married!

We had so much fun celebrating the marriage of LuLu and Josh. LuLu is gorgeous! Their reception was so fun! It was a carnival theme. We stuffed our faces full of hot dogs, snow cones, cotton candy, and popcorn. We loved dancing the night away!
